Jim's chipping away at home projects -- aka "Operation Giant Crib!"
So...Jim and Lowe's have become....lets say....BEST FRIENDS! The latest home project (in addition to the continued siding work) is adding brightness to the front of the house for coziness and security.
We purchased a new porch light, hanging side lights, and front lights that Handyman Jim installed himself! The two hanging lights will eventually be hung on either side of the porch, but after reviewing electricity requirements we have decided to wait and hire a professional before trying to install them!!

New Front of House Lights!
It may look a little halloweeny for now, but we are quickly working on our landscape which will turn the lights into illuminators instead of shadow monsters!!! Hehe ;)
Lastly, Jim purchased us a home security system through SafeMart/LiveWatch which he installed himself as well! The house feels even more secure than before and came equipped with our own British Butler aka talking security machine...that announces every time a door/window is opened, and which one! The most common....Front Door Open....(think Maggie Smith ;) ).

Haha love the title for this! And I know exactly which system you are talking about, a lot of the people I babysit for have that!
