Doctor's Visit!!!

I saw Dr. Beard again today.  Everything went well.  There were a couple nurses helping me, and one student nurse in training.  They took my vitals several times just to confirm everything was right and good.  They also came in to find the baby's heartbeat, it was a strong 146 beats per minute.  The baby is at the stage where the heart is now regulated by the brain and will stay between 140 and 150 for awhile.  It was nice talking to Dr. Beard about the pregnancy...what had been going on and what to expect.  She reemphasized how good everything looks (test results, weight gain, etc), and told me to enjoy the "golden years" of pregnancy...namely...the second trimester! It was a GREAT way to start off my birthday!!!
