My Mom and Tom came in town to help us continue the move-in process and work on the house. In addition to working on the sinks, hanging pictures, and fixing the floor (etc etc), Jim and Tom decided to take on the teeny tiny task of restoring the outside of the home to its original wood siding!!!
When they began to take off pieces of vinyl they discovered the beautiful wood underneath!!! In addition to the wood we also found...a doorbell!!!!! It had been hidden under that siding for who knew how long.
So, the front and the right side of the house are complete, and now we are working on the back and the left side. Soon we plan on painting it a pretty sage color. Maybe it will be done by the time baby is here!!
