Surprising the Bakers!

Sunday afternoon we headed to my dad's house to surprise him and Wynn Dee.  We already had scheduled dinner with my grandma and grandpa at 5:30pm, and planned to meet up with Dad and Wynn Dee beforehand.  We arrived at their house right at 3:00pm.

Similar to the Marble Falls surprise, we stopped about an 1/8th of a mile from the house and tied the balloons all over the car, rolled down the windows, blared music, honked the horn, and flashed the lights as we drove up.

My Dad heard us coming and came out on the driveway.  He immediately started filming and taking pictures!!  I jumped out of the car to hug Dad and had the flowers for Wynn Dee, but come to find out she had run to the grocery store.  So...we went inside with Dad and sat and talked for awhile.  He was super excited, but not too surprised (I think they had guessed), and wanted to hear about everything!!!

Not too much later, Wynn Dee came home and saw the car in the driveway.  We ran out to greet her, and I grabbed the flowers from the car.  She was so thrilled and so excited!!!!  We went inside and told stories about everything, caught them up on how I had been feeling, what all we had been experiencing, and toasted with a glass of sparkling grape juice!

Soon after, we loaded the balloons into their car, grabbed the flowers for grandma, and headed to April Sound for dinner.  We showed up at Grandpa and Grandma's door with flowers, balloons, and the announcement.  They were so excited and overwhelmingly happy!

Dinner was amazing, per usual, and we all told stories, shared in excitement, and even surprised my cousins Emily and Larry on FaceTime!!!

It was a perfect evening and a perfect conclusion to our weekend of family surprises!
