The "three" Sillimans head to Barristers Ball!!!
The theme for Barristers Ball was "A Night in the French Quarter" (hence the purple dress ;) ) at the Magnolia Hotel. We had a ton of fun dancing and spending time with friends! It was the first time I had seen all of my friends from the Law Center since we had announced we were expecting. Everyone made me feel so special, and I had a great time finally being able to talk freely about everything (no more secrets! ;). We only stayed for an hour and a half, and I had only one of my signature mocktails (soda with a splash of cranberry and a lime) ;).
Before the ball we met up with about 20 friends for dinner at Azuma. The food was fantastic! Its a great sushi and robata bar. Jim tried a couple of their signature sushi rolls...I can't eat sushi, so I tried the fried rice and the hot rock steak. They bring you several thinly sliced pieces of steak with an extremely hot rock and dipping sauces. The whole idea is that you cook your own steak to order on the rock, and then choose the sauce you would like for each one. It was really fun and really neat!
Both of you look so great! Love that you guys took a picture in your NEW HOUSE as homeowners ready to go out on the town!
