Baby is the size of a banana!!!!

Baby is the size of a large banana, which means (weighs approx 10 oz and is about 6 1/2 inches long)!! I cannot believe that we are already halfway there! The days seem to fly by, and I am hopeful they will continue to do so as things develop further....
So, when I think of bananas, I think of all things sweet...like our baby :) ('nana puddin', banana cream pie (grandma is the expert on this one), banana cupcakes, bananas foster, baked bananas with cinnamon, bananas and milk....) and the list keeps going!
Just a few weeks ago though I made the below Banana Bread Recipe for the first time. It is a little involved, but 100% worth the trouble!!! AND....my loaves actually came out pretty perfectly! :) I hope you LOVE it!
Banana Bread
Ingredients:
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
3 ripe bananas (like practically black)
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325. Butter a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan (I actually used 2 5x3.25x2.25 and it worked perfectly!).
Cream the sugar and butter in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
In a small bowl, mash the bananas with a fork. Mix in the milk and cinnamon.
In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt (just with a fork is fine).
Add the banana mixture to the creamed mixture and stir until combined (lowest setting on mixer). Add the dry ingredients, mixing just until the flour disappears (it is important NOT to over mix, once the flour has disappeared STOP).
Pour batter into prepared bread pan(s) and bake for 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 minutes (until toothpick insterted in the center comes out clean). Cool on a rack in bread pan for 15 minutes. Remove bread from pan and cool upside down before slicing.
I love to spread a little honey butter on a slice and it serve warm! :)
